In early 2014, inspired by Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York, I began to walk around Seattle asking strangers if I could take their photo and write a little bit about them. It was just a weekend hobby, but when I left my job in April 2014 to travel in India, I realised that this photo-story format was a way for me to travelogue my experiences on the road. My style evolved and many of my posts turned out to be longer stories about both people and places.

I compiled these posts into their respective series below, each one a travelogue of the region told through the photos and stories of the people I met.
